Anamorphic inverts
Commissioned to create as series of interactive features for the National Forest TIMBER festival 2019, this magnified insect trail enabled festival goers to get up close to the little things that run the world. Briefed with the challenge of encouraging festival visitors to connect with the National Forest, landscapes and conservation work, visitors were invited to capture their interaction with the sculptures, share their images via social media, to then be used to create a large scale collaborative mosaic created during the festival event. A total of five insects were created, Elephant Hawk-moth, Rhinoceros Beetle, Common Honey Bee, Common Wasp and Field Grasshopper.
