November 2024 - spring 2025
Inspired by the stunning marine and coastal wildlife of Poole, alongside the iconic places that define its character, INK PRINT REPEAT invites community groups and school pupils to create new drypoint printed artworks, each individually representative of the many rich perspectives and stories of local people and the fascinating wonders of the distinctive Poole landscape and wildlife.
Each guided printing session will offer a unique opportunity to explore deeper connections to Poole’s rich landscape through hands-on printmaking techniques, bringing the spirit of the coast and local places to life. Everyone who takes part in workshops will create new printed art to personally keep and treasure.
Alongside INK PRINT REPEAT we will be creating a permanent new signature sculpture for Poole Museum, launching in spring/summer 2025. More information about our artwork and the inspiration behind it, will be launched soon. It is expected that artworks and conversations created during local workshops will connect and form a relationship to elements of our sculpture artwork. A shared showcase of all print works created by participants as part of the workshop programme will form part of the opening celebrations.
